Information on finding out what benefits you may be entitled to claim
The different benefits that you might be eligible for vary depending on your circumstances. It can be hard to work out what you are entitled to, so it's a good idea to seek advice and guidance.
Citizens Advice West Berkshire are impartial, and are able to offer free guidance about working out which benefits you can claim and how to apply for them.
For older people, organisations such as Age UK can talk you through your options - they have an Information and Advice service that you can email or telephone for help.

You can check what benefits you are able to claim through online calculators.
There are various options available - a good starting point is the GOV.UK benefits calculator webpage, but the Money Saving Expert website also offers a similar tool.
West Berkshire Council provides information about Benefits online, including an online calculator for housing benefit (and council tax).
