Bin store rubbish and recycling

If you live in a communal property, such as a flat, your landlord or service agent should have provided a designated bin store.

Within the bin store you will have been allocated different coloured bins indicating the type of recycling, for example, purple bin for food waste only.

You should also have been allocated a black bin for general rubbish. This is only for items that cannot be recycled such as disposable nappies. Please try to reduce, reuse, repair and recycle as much as you can, before placing items in your black bin. If you have a child under the age of 18 months, have you checked to see if you are eligible for a FREE trial pack of reusable 'real nappies'?
