West Berkshire Giving Tree 2024
Our annual Giving Tree campaign is taking place again this Christmas as part of our ongoing work, alongside partner organisations, to support, protect and care for victims of domestic abuse within West Berkshire.
Christmas is a time for giving and the Giving Tree provides you with an opportunity to share your Christmas spirit by donating a gift to a child or adult who has been affected by Domestic Abuse.
There are two ways you can give a gift:
- You can visit one of our three venues across West Berkshire during their opening times: Newbury Library, Theale Library, or our Market Street Council Offices.
You will be able to pick a gift label and return your corresponding gift. Place your gift in an open gift bag with the label from the tree attached and hand it back to where the label was picked, or at one of the other venues if easier for you!
Or
- You can use our online booking platform to select who you would like to buy a gift for, then purchase your gift online.
Where applicable add a delivery/ gift note to your order stating who you have bought the gift for (for example: 'Boy 3-4 years old'). The chosen gift will need to be delivered directly to our Market Street Council Offices. Click here to access our online booking platform.
The gifts can be a mixture of donations, toys and experiences. Gifts should be new, unused and unwrapped. They must be non-perishable and non-alcoholic. Can you please make sure it comes with a gift bag too.
The support from our residents by actively getting involved in our Giving Tree gives those most hidden in our society hope for a better Christmas.
The campaign will close on 6 December so please get involved this Christmas.
Thank you for your continued support and generosity.
