Infrastructure Delivery Plan (IDP)

The IDP contains details of the infrastructure identified by the council and other service providers to support the delivery of the Local Plan. It explains the approach we have taken to identifying this infrastructure, and how it will be delivered.

The IDP was first produced in 2010 to support the Core Strategy:

This document was then updated in 2013 to support the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL):

A further update was undertaken in April 2016 to support the Housing Site Allocations Development Plan Document:

To support the West Berkshire Local Plan Review to 2039, a draft IDP [2MB]  was published on 8 October 2021.

To support and underpin West Berkshire's growth through to 2039, an updated  Infrastructure Delivery Plan [3MB] was published in January 2023.

The IDP is a 'living document' and will be updated at appropriate stages during the plan-making process.
