West Berkshire Register Office is located at Shaw House, a 16th century Grade 1 listed building, just on the north side of Newbury. The historic charm of the building together with the extensive lawned gardens makes it a beautiful setting for your wedding. Civil Partnerships
If you have chosen to have a civil partnership, there is no reason why you cannot celebrate in a way that is personal to you. Once your partnership is legalised by our registrars we can offer a commitment ceremony, either at Shaw House, one of our licenced venues or an alternative venue, tailored to your individual requirements. You can either do this on the same day or a date of your choosing.
