Lambourn Phosphate Mitigation Solutions Report

West Berkshire Council has commissioned a report, prepared by Royal Haskoning DHV, to advise on potential nutrient mitigation solutions in the River Lambourn SAC (Phosphate Mitigation Solutions Report). The report also specifies the quantum of mitigation that is likely to be required for development in the River Lambourn SAC catchment, including that from current applications, windfall applications, and planned allocations.

The Solutions Report can be used by developers to explore potential phosphate mitigation options for new development. Any mitigation solutions for phosphate will need to meet the requirements of the Conservation of Species and Habitats Regulations 2017 (as amended).
