Countryside Volunteers
Information about finding countryside volunteering opportunities for groups or individuals
Although we don't run a formal volunteering programme, we work closely with our partner organisations to provide volunteering opportunities for groups and individuals. The work volunteers do is invaluable to the way we deliver our services, and is hugely appreciated.
Volunteering is a great way to gain and share skills; volunteers receive the relevant training and support to make volunteering fun and worthwhile, and to provide individuals with new skills. Most volunteer opportunities are flexible so you can choose how much time you are able to spend.
How to Get Involved
Each part of our Countryside Service uses volunteers. You can check the Volunteer Centre West Berkshire website for opportunities, or find out more about volunteering with our partner organisations on their websites:
Some town or parish councils may also need volunteers in areas related to parks and the countryside. Get in touch with your local Parish or Town Council clerk to see if there's any opportunities in your area.
