Multiply: Free Numeracy Courses For Adults in West Berkshire
Multiply is a national initiative that supports a range of free numeracy courses to help adults brush up their maths skills and become more confident with numbers.
The courses provide a number of opportunities for adults to develop their numeracy skills and make a real difference to the way they live, work and support their families.
It doesn't matter if you are starting from scratch and need a bit of confidence in numbers or you want to brush up your maths skills in a particular area, there is a wide programme of courses and support available to suit your needs.
Eligibility
- aged 19 years and over
- live, work or volunteer in West Berkshire
- have not recently gained a Level 2 maths qualification (GCSE grade C/4 or Functional Skills)
Courses
We are working with a range of education and training providers across West Berkshire to provide flexible courses that will develop everyday maths skills in the home and at work covering topics such as:
- home budgeting
- understanding your payslip
- working out percentages
- reading and presenting data
- using spreadsheets
- calculating weights and measurements
- supporting your child with their maths homework
- progression to Functional Skills Maths (Level 1 and 2)
