Support for people Bereaved by Suicide

If you have been affected by suicide and you are experiencing suicidal thoughts yourself, it can be frightening and worrying, but it is common and natural to have thoughts about suicide having lost someone in this way. It is very important that you talk with people who can support you: family or friends, GP or other health professional. If you find yourself in an emergency situation, call 999 and ask for an ambulance or visit your nearest accident and emergency department.

Bereaved by Suicide Service

There is a new Bereaved by Suicide Advocacy Service for anyone in Berkshire, who has been affected by suicide. People referred into this service will be offered tailored bespoke support. For more information see: Amparo - support following a suicide
